John & Eleni Visit San Francisco

Just in case there were any doubts, here we are with the Golden Gate in the background. Not sure why John's stomach is sticking out. We certainly burned a lot of calories walking all over that city!

John promised Eleni she would see Sea Lions. Promise definitely kept. Photoshop added the blood on the lower right face. It's not in the original.

Fleet Week was an unplanned extra. There were stunt teams flying over the city for the whole time we were there. Eleni was surprisingly enthralled. If you come visit, we can show you videos (yawn).

One required attraction is Lombard Street. We walked up, and found out why the switchbacks were needed.

The highlight of the trip for Eleni was Muir Woods. She just could not get enough tree-hugging in.

After Muir Woods, our tour stopped in Sausalito. It was too expensive to do anything but look around.
Looking at balanced rocks was free.

And John posed along the waterfront.

What's next? Seattle? San Diego? Grand Canyon? Or Ireland?
