Odds and Ends - Life in New Mexico

Updated 6/24/07

Just a collection of stuff that used to be news

What is wrong with this old man? Cliffs are for kids!

On Father's Day 2005, Zak announced his engagement to Angela.
 Betrothed
Ana climbed Los Griegos with me ealier that day.

John got his structural firefighter certification in 2005. He has only been to about 3 structure fires.

The "Spring" of '05 (It was snowy and cold until mid-May), we went to Ruidoso for an EMS conference where Eleni got certified to teach CPR and John learned how to do vehicle extrication.

We climbed Virgin Mesa, which got real steep in  some places!
The Spanish also found this out when they were trying to snuff the pueblo revolt. John also learned how to do structural firefighting (no picture yet).

Eleni worked and volunteered at the Valles Caldera during the winter of 04/05. This is her with "History Grove" in the background.

You may notice Eleni is the human part of this magnificent view. That black thing at her waist is our EMS/Fire radio. We joined La Cueva Volunteer Fire Department in Spring '04. Eleni & John are EMTs - Intermediate and Basic, respectively. They also do wildland firefighting, structural firefighting, and vehicle extrication.

Lastly, if you have never seen the end of a rainbow, then you have just never been to our house.

This picture was taken from our back porch.
